  Thank goodness standards are being maintained somewhere in the world! My lady friend and I were blown away by the incredible Riu Tres Islas when we visited a few years ago and so we decided to stay there again in September 2017.

  Wonderful hotel, comfortable, clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful beach directly at the hotel's doorstep and a vast (beautiful) desert/wasteland to the other side. The prices are decent and the food is great (we had breakfast and dinner buffet included) with a wide selection catering to various kinds of preferences, loved it! There is a supermarket nearby that is very well stocked and very decently priced. I can happily recommend this hotel, especially in December there seem to be few guests, making the experience all the more pleasant.

  The hotel is immaculate, the food out of this world and the staff so friendly, helpful and approachable that one felt like a returning member of a large, convivial family. Indeed many of the staff, including the wonderful and super-efficient Susanna on Reception, have been there for in excess of 30 years.

  The Riu Hotel Group is a shining, and very rare example, of the desirable face of capitalism. That brother Luis and sister Carmen can run such a successful, happy and profitable multi-national hotel empire, whilst bringing so much pleasure to so many people is indeed a rare achievement in this increasingly selfish world. What a shame that people of such ability are not tempted into international politics!

  Wonderful hotel set in lovely surroundings. Hotel is well thought out directly on beach. Large rooms kept immaculately clean.Food good with great choices. Staff are so friendly can't wait to return.

  Perfect location by the beach, and staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner are tasty enough with ample choice for vegetarians. There is a small fridge in the room for the minibar. However, the rooms really, really need updating - the beds are hard and worn out, the carpet looks dirty, and the old wooden furniture are making the room feel cluttered. The rooms which provide access for disabled people are impossible to shower in without flooding the whole floor...which means it's then unusable until it dries. Overall, people are working hard and are doing a great job, just wish the beds were more comfortable and the rooms a bit lighter in color and with less bulky furniture.

  All around a very good place. Half-board so no lunch, but the selection of food for breakfast and dinner will keep you full enough so you don't need it. Most importantly, the beach is fantastic - soft, cool sand that stretches for miles (and surrounds) the hotel with a nice breeze to keep you from feeling too hot (we were there in the summer with temperatures around 25C). Additionally, there is sport shop not too far from the hotel where you can rent wind/kite/standard-surfing and other water sport's gear.
